Transportation

Transportation services are offered to all residents of Harlan County, regardless of income or age. 

                       

Non-Emergency Medical Transportation



This transportation service is primarily for those in need of medical services, Department for the Blind, and Cumberland River Comprehensive Care Center.

            

Local Public Transportation



For a nominal fee based on the client's specific need, transportation is provided so that citizens may have access to educational facilities, places of employment, shopping centers, agencies, and other sites.  We currently cover the entire county as well as out of town medical facilities, airports, and bus stations.

           

Harlan/Cumberland Fixed Route

           

For a nomimal fee, a fixed route daily service is provided between Harlan and Cumberland every weekday.  The following schedule is observed:



The bus leaves the city of Harlan Monday-Friday at 7:00AM and 2:00PM and arrives in Cumberland at 8:00AM and 3:00PM and returns to Harlan at 9:00AM and 4:00PM.

                       

Harlan/Evarts Fixed Route

           

For a nominal fee, a fixed route daily service is provided between Harlan and Evarts every weekday. The following schedule is observed:



The bus leaves the city of Evarts Monday-Friday at 7:15AM and arrives in Harlan at 8:00AM.  The bus leaves Harlan Monday-Friday at 3:00PM and arrives in Evarts at 4:00PM.
